"We are very excited about this year’s Tour de Cure®," says Steve Wetmore, Chairman of the Tucson Tour de Cure®. "The routes are the best we’ve ever had and offer the perfect ride for every level of cyclist. We anticipate over 400 participants and our goal is to raise $100,000." The money raised from Tour de Cure® supports the research and education programs of the American Diabetes Association, including Camp AZDA, the only resident camp for children with diabetes in the state of Arizona. Additionally, the American Diabetes Association currently has over $4 million invested in 12 diabetes research projects in Arizona.
