The Equality Walkers, 10 of them, have been logging miles in Northern Arizona, one mile for every year our State has not guaranteed equal marriage to all of its citizens.
They’ve been sharing stories with churches, town councils, mayors, business owners, and everyday people in Lake Havasu, Kingman, Prescott, Jerome, Sedona, Flagstaff, Winslow, Holbrook, Eager, St. Johns, Springerville, Globe and Payson. Come out hear stories from the road, listen to some amazing speakers, and help celebrate. Stand up and demand equal marriage rights for All Arizonans!
You can join us for the final mile that begins at Phoenix City Hall at Noon on Saturday, 14 August 2010. Then we’ll walk a mile to the Arizona State Capitol where we’ll hold a Rally at 1pm on the Senate Lawn.

It is also your chance to celebrate the Walkers and their 98 mile pilgrimage for your equality.
