This survey as written brings negativity and only fosters even more homophobia within the military. It doesn't focus on the positives that will come with this repeal. The questions are not well rounded and will not provide an accurate and honest opinion of the military soldier. If they are going to poll the military, why is it only going to a select handfull 400,000. Is not a lot when you look at the military as a whole. I am very disappointed about this survey and fear that the results will be leading very much to the conservative right. Most changes start with discussion, and the military has used surveys like this before. They did not just decide to do it for this situation. If the numbers/estimates are correct on how many LGBT service members there are, then the survey will hopefully include representation from them.
