What economic impact, if any, do you see for Arizona with the passage of SB1070?

There has been a great deal of talk lately about boycotts of Arizona, and the expected loss of business in a variety of industries as a result. 

What economic impact do you think there will be, if any?

If the impact is felt, will it be as a result of boycotts or as a result of those individuals choosing to relocate themselves or their businesses to other states?

Is this bill changing your purchasing/spending choices?

What is your ‘n-stinct about this?

    Boycotts hurt the wrong people. The hard working people who will be laid off because of boycotts have nothing to do with this law being passed.

    Unfortunately, many people are leaving the state because the political climate is getting so bad. So, the rent they are not paying, the food they are not buying, the other money that will now be spent elsewhere and being taxed, is all leaving the state. This is the bigger issue to me…….

    Are economy in the state can’t even be classified as in recovery mode yet, and now this? I don’t know how much more the state can take.

    The damage is DONE it is estimated that arizona has lost about 100 million dollars so far due to boycotts so boycotts do work. it is estimated 100,000 arizonan’a citizen’s and non citizen alike have left the the state to other states new mexico, colorado, texas by signing that bill back in april gov brewer opened the gates of hell. it will take a generation for jobs to return to arizona this state name is soiled . peolpe around the globe are refering to arizona as the racist state. as for any lgbt person who support’s sb1070 brewer, arpaio, or pierce
    next time the gov signs something (oh she’s done that allready) to take away your rights don’t cry to me NOTE: to all lgbt folks who support sb1070 shame on you next time you are denied access to visit your partner,to get married in this state which you cant because the majority of straight folks said NO to you prop 102 , and God forbid you get attacked or fired because who you are don’t cry to me whether this happens to hispanic, blacks, or jews DISCRIMATION And intolorance IS all THE SAME.
